Privacy notice (draft)
CIL Guard (working name) stores the information you give us to run the service: your email address, optional name, a salted password hash, your project details (council, planning reference, dates), the progress you record and any documents you upload to your evidence folder.
We use it only to show your timeline, send the deadline reminders you ask for, and process payments. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number. Data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
In the iPhone, iPad and Android apps, purchases are made through Apple or Google and confirmed through our in-app purchase provider RevenueCat, which receives a pseudonymous account ID and your purchase records (no name or email). Emails (reminders, password resets) are sent through Resend. The apps contain no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs.
You can delete a project, a file, or your whole account at any time from the app. Deleting your account removes your projects and uploaded files. See how to delete your account.
